Bill McKay

Bill McKay is an Associate Head of the School of Architecture and Planning at the University of Auckland. He writes extensively on New Zealand architecture in books, journals and magazines including Architecture New Zealand, Home and Urbis. His commentary and criticism over the last decade has been recognised by the NZ Institute of Architects with a Presidents Award and Urbis magazine named him Best Architectural Writer. He recently published Beyond the State: NZ State Houses from Modest to Modern and has a book on NZ churches due out in 2015.
