Tracey Barnett

Tracey Barnett has been a contributing commentator and columnist for The New Zealand Herald, The Sunday Star-Times and TV3, among others. She is the author of The Quiet War on Asylum, a remembrance of her reporting on the issue and a here’s-what’s-happening introduction to asylum issues in New Zealand. She is a strong advocate for pursuing an independent policy course on refugees from our Australian neighbours and created the asylum rights campaign, “We Are Better Than That”.
