Ages 14 - 24
Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 September, 10am-4pm

We use our own personal stories and experiences to create compelling theatre. We work physically, but it doesn’t matter if you are fit or not. We are all about finding what works for the individual, and what you enjoy doing the most.

Tutors: Sam Scott and Celeste de-Freitas

Sam Scott is the founding director of Massive. She has been teaching nationally and internationally for 30 years.  A founder of Theatresports in schools in NZ and a director of film & TV (including Shortland St, 1998-2007) her biggest love is theatre. Her speciality is devising theatre and creating stories with workshop participants that are gutsy, loud, enormously funny, or powerfully emotional.

Celeste de-Freitas has been with Massive since 2016, when she joined Massive Nui Ensemble. She performed in emerging artists' show Chance to Ignite in 2016, and is now part of the cast of Sightings, which returns to the Going West Festival after successful seasons in both Auckland and Whangarei.
