David McGill is a prolific social historian and author. David will discuss his career and launch his latest crime novel and final installment in the trilogy featuring two Glen Eden families from 1955 to the present day.

An author of historical fiction, Elspeth Sandys has extensive experience as a stage and radio playwright including adaptations for the BBC. She has published short stories as well as long fiction and is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships in recognition of her work. In 2006 Elspeth was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to literature.
